The first quarter of 2018 has passed, and with your support, we paid the second term fees of 93 children.
With the third term already in session, we are glad to let you know that the sum of N2, 897,730.00 (Two million, eight hundred and ninety-seven thousand, seven hundred and thirty Naira) has also been paid for the third term’s fees.
Two of our beneficiaries also gained admission into tertiary institutions.
Olayiwola Jumoke was admitted to study accounting at the University of Lagos, and Ugbah Sola was admitted at the Yaba College of Technology to study electrical/electronics engineering.
We also mourn the loss of one of our avid supporters who had been with us since the beginning – the late Mr. Babatunde Soetan who passed away in February. May his soul rest in peace, and may God comfort his family and grant them the strength and courage they need to cope with this difficult time.
This year, the FDF plans to partner with schools to provide discounted tuition fees for FDF beneficiaries. This will allow the FDF to refer existing beneficiaries to partner schools and also support some orphans and fatherless children in those same schools.
Our third year anniversary also comes up on the 29th of May 2018, and we are delighted to invite you to our picnic. It’ll provide the perfect opportunity to meet with the beneficiaries, and get to know us a little better. Do come with yor families and friends. It promises to be fun!
